A score below 40 suggests a lot of exposure to the activities listed, which is neither good nor bad on its own.
Across the millions of publicly shared results, the average score sits between 55 and 75, with the exact number shifting slightly by age group. Younger takers usually score higher, and scores tend to drop through the college years before stabilizing.
Yes, as long as both people take the same 100 question version and answer honestly. Since every question counts as one point, the raw score is directly comparable. Two reasons. Either you have new life experience since the last attempt, or you answered a few borderline questions differently this time. The test intentionally uses simple yes or no wording, so borderline situations sometimes flip between takes. That is normal and does not mean the test is broken.
